The Drop is a podcast created by Drop-In Studios that highlights the stories of ambitious young creators, entrepreneurs, and individuals pursuing meaningful work. Through honest conversations and real-life experiences, the show explores the pivotal β€œdrop” moments that challenge people to step outside their comfort zones and commit to bold ideas. By sharing authentic journeys along with practical insights and lessons learned, the podcast aims to inspire listeners to push past fear and uncertainty. The Drop encourages its audience to embrace risk, take action, and pursue the opportunities that lead to growth, creativity, and remarkable personal journeys.

Project Details:

The Drop is a surf-inspired podcast brand created to capture the spirit of risk, resilience, and bold self-expression among young creators. This project showcases a complete brand identity that I developed by hand, including the logo, color palette, typography, brand visuals, and supporting content. Inspired by the raw energy of surf culture, the design uses warm, sun-washed tones and textured elements that reflect grit, movement, and sun-battered skin after long days chasing waves. Working closely with the client, the visual direction was crafted to communicate authenticity and courage, encouraging young adults to embrace uncertainty and take meaningful risks. Every element presented in this project was designed to build a cohesive brand identity that embodies adventure, determination, and the mindset behind taking β€œthe drop.”
